Founded in 1934, Tecnoquimicas S.A. is a leading company in the production and marketing of products and services in the health, personal care, domestic cleaning, adhesives, agricultural and veterinary sectors in Colombia and Latin America. Today it operates with 29 production areas located in 11 plants in Colombia and 3 in Central America, in which it manufactures nearly 4,000 different references. Tecnoqu micas generates more than 5,000 jobs and is present with its own operation, in addition to Colombia, in Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, where it operates with 2 pharmaceutical plants. It also highlights its export dynamics, as it comes with some of its products to 17 other countries in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. During the last decade it has grown at an annual average of 15%, and in 2012 its sales reached 542 million dollars. Continues its strengthening in Colombia with operations such as the recent purchase of the brand Hidraplus, Baxter, and the company Wasser, specialist in ophthalmic products. Likewise, it continues with its process of international expansion through new acquisitions in Central America and the Andean Region, where it is currently carrying out negotiations that are about to take shape. The company offers agroveterinary products that include agriculture products, such as fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides; and veterinary products, such as anabolics, analgesics/anti inflammatories, anti microbials, antiparasaitics, biological, and vitamins and minerals.
